Managing Director Jobs description

The chief executive officers of some corporations are called managing directors. Managing directors are members of their companies\' boards of directors and are senior managers. The managing director of a company may also be referred to as the chief executive or chief executive officer.
The primary responsibility of the managing director is to provide strategic leadership to the organization in both day-to-day and long-term activities. Other responsibilities include coordinating with and overseeing the efforts of the sales director, the marketing director, operations managers, the chief operating officer, the chief technical officer, the chief financial officer, senior managers, and the rest of the organization. Managing directors also manage their companies\' budgets and customer and investor relations, acting as the strategic heads of their organizations.
To obtain a managing director position, one typically needs a bachelor\'s degree and 15-plus years of relevant experience. Individuals currently serving as chief executive officers, chief operating officers, managing directors, senior directors, executive directors, vice presidents, presidents, chief technical officers, directors, or deans are generally eligible for managing director positions.
