CTO Jobs description
CTO Jobs are jobs for the main technology person in the company. CTO stands for Chief Technology Officer. In CTO Jobs, the manager is supposed to lead the company’s technology development, maintain the company’s edge and coordinate with the company’s R&D activities. The various research heads, IT directors and other leading technical executives report to him. CTO Jobs also require the executive to keep track of all patent related issues.The main difference between a CTO and CIO (Chief Information Officer) is that the CTO looks to develop new technologies for the company and the CIO looks to use existing technology. The CTO jobs require the executive to communicate his vision of the company’s technological future. The people in this position usually come from engineering backgrounds and have at least 10 years of experience in their field and have risen through the ranks.
