Executive Jobs description
Those positions in an organization which have an administrative or managerial role can be referred to as executive positions. Most of these openings are C-level openings or are part of the senior management. The various executive positions in a typical business environment are those of president, plant supervisor, general manager, chief operations officer, chief technical officer, chief marketing officer, chief executive officer, senior director, vice president, managing director, and chief financial officer.The pool of responsibilities for these executives is very broad. The aforementioned executives may be responsible for strategic planning and management for the organization; overseeing the performance of various divisions and their productivity; establishing best practices; forecasting manufacturing, sales, and other figures periodically; organizing and managing change; analyzing mergers and acquisitions; maintaining good relations with investors, regulatory bodies, and customers; reviewing financial statements and ensuring profitability; and coordinating with and managing department heads.
Because these positions are at the senior management level, a bachelor's degree or master's degree as well as 15+ years of experience is typically expected. The ability to work well with people and good contacts in the relevant industry may also be required.
