Description
The MVP, MarketPoint Brokerage will lead Humana's internal brokerage/FMO. This role is responsible for overseeing the growth/recruitment of agents, building additional brokerage infrastructure to support sales and growth, accommodate carrier-agnostic relationships and leading various program initiatives such as retail store staffing and Broker Select Agent (BSA) transitions into MarketPoint Brokerage from Humana's employed channel. This role is accountable for achieving new sales growth targets on Humana products, agent recruitment and retention objectives and revenue generation from non-Humana product sales through the MarketPoint Brokerage.
Responsibilities
The MVP, MarketPoint Brokerage will lead Humana's internal brokerage/FMO. This role is responsible for overseeing the growth/recruitment of agents, building additional brokerage infrastructure to support sales and growth, accommodate carrier-agnostic relationships and leading various program initiatives such as retail store staffing and Broker Select Agent (BSA) transitions into MarketPoint Brokerage from Humana's employed channel. This role is accountable for achieving new sales growth targets on Humana products, agent recruitment and retention objectives and revenue generation from non-Humana product sales through the MarketPoint Brokerage. This role is directly responsible for developing, selling, and then activating strategies with multi-year time horizons of impact. In addition to the role's direct responsibilities, this position will work directly with the Segment President, Senior Vice Presidents, and Vice Presidents as part of the influence enterprise investments, execute sales and retention strategies, drive associate engagement, and develop talent. Decisions are typically related to strategy development, executing, identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and leading highly specialized professional associates. The MVP, MarketPoint Brokerage leads a team of 6-8, as well as overseeing 2300 vendor agents.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
8 or more years of relevant technical experience
Master's Degree
Active Health & Life Insurance Licenses
Medicare or Insurance industry experience
Strong analytical skills
5 or more years of management experience
Must have, or be able to obtain a Health & Life Insurance or all appropriate state licenses
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
