Aon is looking for a Vice-President – Treaty As part of an industry-leading team, you will help strategically advise our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Reinsurance. Job Responsibilities:Manages a portfolio of clients with a significant level of annual brokerage orIs a major revenue or new business producer, or both orHolds significant leadership responsibility for internal staff functionAchieves high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service to clients through managing the overall reinsurance placement processIs viewed by clients as a strategic partnerFocuses on helping senior leaders grow existing accounts and attract new accountsAchieves placement goals at or above set levelsIs widely recognized as an expert with outstanding problem-solving abilities and top-notch client relationship management capabilitiesBuilds and maintains effective working relationships with clients and reinsurersWorks closely with management to establish and implement strategy for new business developmentInforms clients about other Aon products and services that can help them manage their reinsurance or other business needsEnsures all placements are checked, documented and corrected (as needed)Speaks effectively to clients and professional groupsRepresents Aon externally through professional associations and business community associationsDemonstrates leadership within Aon and the insurance/reinsurance industryWhen appropriate, leads multidisciplinary broking teamsHas a superior knowledge of the service offerings of Aon [KL2]Works with management to research and develop new approaches and conceptsFosters and promotes a team approach to both internal and external business relationshipsManages account team members to ensure they are meeting clients’ needsCommitment to pursuing self-development of knowledge and skills in the evolving world of insurance, reinsurance and analyticsYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:7 to 12 years related experiencePrevious formal or informal experience in managing teams or direct reportsExceptional interpersonal skills with the capability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationshipsExcellent communicator (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external clientsEntrepreneurial attitude with high level of accountability for profitability and client satisfactionStrong organization and time management skills; able to multi-task and manage projectsAbility to work independently as a self-starter; committed to delivering the highest in client service, quality and resultsStrong analytical skills with ability to make sound business decisionsProactive problem-solver who anticipates issues and suggests creative solutionsAbility to embrace change in support of the business unit’s and company’s goalsWorking knowledge of MS Office suite of products with ability to learn and use multiple software and system-based applicationsProfessional demeanour with positive attitudeAon has a comprehensive compensation package including a base salary, bonus for meeting team professional sales/service targets and an extensive benefits package.
