Position: Executive Director, Cell Therapy Franchise Program Management

The Executive Director, Cell Therapy Franchise Program Management will play a key role in CAR T operations and will act as a key member of the Cell Therapy Franchise team. This person will be responsible for managing/leading multiple projects across the Cell Therapy Franchise. Responsibilities include developing, managing and tracking integrated project plans/timelines, and leading implementation of processes across the Cell Therapy Franchise. In addition, this person will play a key role in driving communication, decision making, and identifying risks and mitigation strategies across the Franchise.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead multidisciplinary cross-functional team on behalf of the Cell Therapy Franchise to develop, gain approval, and execute on global strategies
Develop and track integrated project plans for new/existing projects and coordinate with all applicable functions
Organize efficient review and approval of materials in accordance with regulatory, medical and legal requirements
Support Cell Therapy governance meetings as needed
Track implementation (KPIs) and success, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and implements rapid corrective activities if needed
Partner with Business Development to identify external opportunities that can supplement our internal pipeline
Develop presentations related to strategy, status, critical path activity timing, resources required, and related issues and / or risks, and communicate internally and to external partners as appropriate
Partner with leaders from the organization to find resources (headcount and/or budget) to achieve objectives and drive allocation and prioritization of activities
Serves as a lead on sub-teams to assure that franchise initiatives are completed on time
Uncover areas within the business to drive performance and efficiency improvements to accelerate execution and lead/support project management of these initiatives
Effectively interfacing with various Leadership teams and across BMS matrix to ensure appropriate understanding of Cell Therapy Franchise strategic priorities, to ensure cross functional alignment and minimize company risk
Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders within the Cell Therapy Franchise; commercial, medical, market access, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.
Supports the preparation of strategic documents and presentations for senior management reviews
Minimum of 15 years of pharmaceutical experience
MBA or Ph.D. required
Leadership experience in selecting, leading, developing, motivating and achieving results through teams
Demonstrated success in a highly visible, high pressure, fast paced, and complex situations
Demonstrated ability to challenge and influence multiple disparate functions and distil best thinking into a cohesive strategy
Demonstrated ability to successfully and effectively collaborate and work across boundaries and building strong external relationships
Ability to “flex” across different types of cultures, work, complexities, business situations and matrix partners
Exceptional analytical skills to ensure emerging trends aligns with potential business implications
Experience in project management with the ability to develop clear action plans and execute
Excellent communication and presentation skills to internal and external senior leadership
