KPMG is currently seeking an Executive Director, Campus Recruiting to join our Human Resources organization.

Responsibilities:

Accountable for leading, staffing, developing, motivating, inspiring and retaining of KPMG’s US Campus Recruiting and University Relations team of 150 including strategy development, branding and communications, innovative program design and industry best practice standards incorporating both live and virtual recruiting methods

Oversee, facilitate, host and participate in national campus programs including, interviews at Key National Schools, on-campus interviews, partner and intern events, and to assess recruiting programs for all offices and schools to make certain resources are being channeled appropriately and in-line with the KPMG Premier School recruiting strategy; review performance and retention data as well as the live versus virtual school complement to provide an annual refinement of target schools as well as underrepresented recruiting strategies

Participate as primary campus leader on all Talent Acquisition (TA) transformation projects such the centralization TA operations, National Intern Training (NIT) design for Lakehouse, Onboarding, Embark, and RISE, including leading the full redesign of an open campus hiring platform and assessment testing methodology to progress both the function and capabilities of the team

Accountable for the effective, efficient and compliant deployment of KPMG’s US recruiting and university relations strategy providing a best-in-class candidate and faculty experience reflective of KPMG’s values and the firm’s inclusion and diversity strategy; including facilitation of training for interns and early career hires, faculty relations and on-campus sponsorship as well as ensuring sourcing, scheduling and other recruiting processes are optimized through technological advancement and on and off-shore services

Represent KPMG at internal and external stakeholders’ and industry meetings such as NIT, GA, Faculty Symposium, AAA, AICPA, CAQ, NABA, ALPFA, Enactus, and FBLA and relevant PhD Project and Foundation sponsored programs

Develop, maintain, maximize and report on the annual Campus and University Relations operating budget of $25M and provide oversight for area Business Unit and National Practice budgets as well as develop and executes a regular communication approach and cadence between HR and firmwide leadership, the National Partner-in-Charge and Campus and University Relations leadership teams

Qualifications:

Minimum fifteen years of broad Human Resources experience, with a strategic emphasis on recruiting, university relations, and innovative hiring and onboarding solutions; preferably from a professional services environment

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Experience managing large HR teams that have significant impact and influence to continuously improve recruiting processes for the firm with a sustained track record of driving change management, including helping leaders and teams evolve toward a “future state” organization and culture

Strong results orientation with a demonstrated ability to oversee practical, solution-driven initiatives and recruiting processes that are perceived as quickly adding value to the business

Outstanding communication skills with ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner and develop trust and influence as a senior thought leader with a broad relationship base; ability to present on campus and within offices to recruits, faculty, career center personnel, recruiting team members and KPMG Leadership

Ability to manage and lead area and national teams of Partners, Managers and staff, with varying levels of experience and proactively get team buy-in of changes in policies, practices and implementation thereof throughout the organization; self-aware and emotionally confident with unquestioned maturity, integrity and ethics to quickly gain credibility from the HR and Talent Acquisition, Business Unit (BU) and Practice Leaders and senior firm leadership; can stand toe-to-toe with external industry thought leaders
