$90K- 120K Bonus Billion dollar global banking conglomerate seeks bachelors with 5 years SBA (Small Business Administration) lending Business Development or Relationship Manager experience (selling both 7a and 504), with Business Development Officer (BDO) experience in a commercial banking environment selling SBA loans to the small and mid-market commercial sector ($10ml-100ml revenue clients Commercial Real Estate, Business Acquisitions etc.) Must have a strong sales track record ($10-15ml / year in SBA) and ability to self-generate leads using well developed external COI and ability to win new business in the SBA loan market (7a and 504 Loans). The successful candidate will have the ability to initiate, negotiate, sell and package SBA loans and cross-sell business banking products to new prospects and existing customers. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading bank committed to continued growth of their SBA portfolio, with a broader credit box, attractive long-term fixes rates and the ability to approve B credit loans. Unrestricted territory with focus on COI. Responsibilities: Identify and solicit new business relationships in the small business SBA Commercial and Commercial Real Estate loan market. Interview new and existing loan applicants to gather information on business needs, abilities and earnings to determine loan credit risk. Cross-sell business products to existing customers and prospect business customers through an organized calling program. Assemble loan packages and handle loan closing. Actively participate in external community activities in order to promote the Bank and to develop a business referral network. Requirements Bachelors in finance or equivalent 4 years SBA Business Development Officer (BDO) / Sales experience in the commercial lending area of a bank. Strong understanding of SBA Government business loans (Small Business Administration loans). Proven ability to initiate, negotiate, and sell SBA government lending loans and close sales. Familiarity with and ability to interpret small business financial statements. Effective communication with all levels of management. Reports to the SBA Government Lending Manager.
