Conduent is conducting a global search for a highly experienced, senior level executive that will lead, manage and growthe Healthcare business group.
The successful candidate's charge will be to substantially expand Conduent's Healthcare business by: 1) Creating a long-term vision for the Healthcare segment; 2) Constructing and implementing the group's overall operational strategy across various aspects of Healthcare operations, administration and support functions 3) Developing further and leading a world-class organization to support and deliver the vision. With direct profit/loss (P&L) responsibilities for the group, he / she will be responsible for the direction and oversight of the group's account management, business development and sales, operational and delivery activities, ensuring that the solutions are delivered in a manner that exceedsclient expectations. Ensures the achievement of short and long-term goals for financial performance, operating efficiency and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities to include
Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the Healthcare business.
Demonstrates sound business judgment, innovation in approaching business challenges and the ability to translate a strategic plan into operating results.
Spearheads the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
Institutes plans and programs to maintain and/or enhance competitive market position.
Develops annual long-range profit and strategic plans necessary to ensure future sales and profit growth.
Ensures the development of marketing plans that will appeal to a variety of customers on a global basis in order to support sales and profit objectives.
Tracks and responds to changes in market conditions by implementing necessary changes to the organization.
Anticipates and alerts the senior executive team of financial issues and opportunities within the designated business units.
Attracts, motivates and leads a high performance management team; attract, recruit and retain top talent; provides mentoring and development as a cornerstone for succession planning.
Drives signings growth through Account Managers in established and new accounts
Represents the organization with executives and clients, and establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal and external constituents including consultants.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the following areas:
General Management and Business Development
A minimum of 15 years of experience with a minimum of 10 years in management roles of increasing responsibility and demonstrated experience leading and managing a services business with full P&L responsibility of at least $400M with over 5,000 employees and leading an onshore and offshore Financial Services portfolio or a Professional Service consultancy.
A track record of achieving aggressive business and operational goals in a complex driven environment.
Strong organizational skills; the ability to create an effective yet practical plan and then implement it; the passion to direct, organize, prioritize, and motivate a team around that strategy and vision.
A demonstrated open, collaborative leadership style; capable of inspiring a team despite the changing opportunities dictated by the client environment, the services industry, and from within Conduent.
A track record for recruiting and developing staff in line with practice growth plans; the capacity to hire the right blend of talent to create a successful organization.
An excellent reputation of partnering with other services providers and practices; including various internal practice areas.
An instinctive ability to qualify leads; a nose for what business to chase; a talent for developing key accounts into annuities.
Industry and Functional Experience
Major program experience and extensive knowledge of the Healthecare outsourcing industry; a vision and passion for identifying solutions to enhance operations.
An ability to comprehend and address the client's issues from a business perspective, communicating to the client how Conduent can help address these issues.
An ability to establish immediate credibility through demonstrating an understanding of those issues facing the industry and capability to address them; familiarity with outsourcing solutions to solve those problems.
An established presence as a strong thought and people leader in Healthcare outsourcing industry.
Strong customer references; a successful record of managing and enhancing client relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
Subject matter expertise in the Insurance outsourcing industry; background in management consulting and professional services would be especially helpful.
Solutions development background to address the creation and assure the quality of the delivery of solutions to business problems for the client; and the ability to compare and contrast Insurance based solutions available to that industry.

An undergraduate degree is required, and an advanced degree is desirable.
• The preferred location for this position will be New York or Atlanta; open to other areas on US mainland.
