As SVP of Finance, you\rwould serve as a key member of the corporate financial leadership team and as a\rkey interface between executive management and the Finance Team. Your\rcomprehensive understanding of key business drivers and financial models that enable\rthe delivery of insightful and valuable analysis, coupled with your experience\rin Investor Relations and in acting as a sound business partner, would make you\ran invaluable leader within the organization. \rGreat opportunity for someone currently at the VP level ready to make\rtheir move into an SVP level position.\r\rPlease note: This position is to be located in our Savannah, GA office with relocation offered for the role; however, we also have a corporate location in the Dallas area. If candidates are NOT able to relocate, there could be some consideration to local candidates already in the Dallas area to work in our Carrollton corporate office but expected travel to Savannah twice/week. \r \r \rEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r \rDrive the investor reporting cycle in conjunction with the\rexternal reporting team, including assisting with quarterly Management\rDiscussion and Analysis (MDA), creation of the earnings' transcript and\rQuestion and Answer document, creation of additional investor materials, and\rpreparation of materials for Board of Director meetings.\r \rAct as the primary stakeholder for the execution of bond/refinance\rdeals and as the primary point of contact for the Board of Directors, current\rand potential Investment Firms, and other external financial relations.\r \rWork with executive leadership to develop intermediate and\rlong-term strategies, communicating these consistently to external investors\rand providing associated deliverables internally.\r \rObtain an in-depth understanding of the current financing\ragreements and the various obligations by which the Company must abide.\r \rPrepare and present timely and accurate key data for assessing the\rhealth and performance of the loan portfolio/revenue cycle at an aggregate\rlevel as well as by state and product.\r \rOwn, develop, streamline, and maintain financial models, annual\rbudgets, quarterly forecasts, and reporting processes; as well as oversee the\rcontinued development of a robust set of static pool/vintage analytics,\rmetrics, and reporting.\r \rProvide effective and timely financial information and business\ranalytics and information to executive leadership to ensure the organization is\reffectively meeting the strategic operating plan and adherence to the long-term\rroadmap.\r \rManage and assist in the monthly financial review process,\rpreparing consistent and meaningful variance explanations by working with and\rdeveloping key relationships with both department and operational leadership.\r \rPerform financial analysis, developing, implementing, and\remploying financial metrics and sourcing data for new report processes and\rtrend analyses.
Minimum Qualifications\r\r \r Bachelor's\r Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or any related field\r \r \r 15 \r years of experience in financial modeling, planning, budgeting, business\r analysis, and/or accounting activities\r \r \r Strong\r financial services industry experience\r \r \r Previous\r experience supporting investor relations activities (preparing and reviewing\r materials, execution of bond deal and interfacing with external investors\r strongly preferred)\r \r \r Must\r possess strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and financial\r statements\r \r \r Knowledge\r of commonplace processes and procedures in corporate finance\r \r \r Must be\r effective and efficient in data mining and knowledge discovery\r \r \r Must be\r proficient in Microsoft Office Suite\r \r \r Must be\r an experienced Excel user able to create pivot tables, macros and effective\r formulas\r \r \r This\r position is located in Savannah, GA with expected travel weekly to the\r Carrollton, TX corporate office outside of Dallas (estimated 40% travel)\r \r \r Great\r opportunity for someone at the VP level ready to move into an SVP level\r position\r Bonus Qualifications\r \r\r\r \r Master's\r Degree in a related field or MBA strongly preferred\r \r \r Experience\r in a multi-unit or retail environment\r \r \r Prior\r experience working on Wall Street is strongly preferred\r \r
