Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose: As part of the Retail Card Pricing team - you will participate in managing deal processes for Retail Card Finance. This involves renewals, pricing changes (including promos), contract negotiations, portfolio acquisitions and start-ups. Essential Responsibilities:Support Pricing leader in managing deal processes for Retail Card Finance for renewals, pricing changes (including promos), contract negotiations, portfolio acquisitions and start-ups. For select startups lead the pricing process.Analyze and propose deal economic structures for renewal and startup opportunities.Develop appropriate economic sensitivities for 2nd line, Pre-Investment Committee, and regulatory requirements.As part of contract negotiation team, participle and in select instances lead the discussion on pricing matters by working closely with Legal, Underwriting and Client.Engage in Third Party discussions including on-site proposal meetings with customers and their representatives.Provide due diligence support and leadership as needed for portfolio purchases and valuations,Lead and execute key projects to improve the transparency and sustainability of pricing process e.g. model enhancements, client compensation analysis, promotional pricing.Work with cross-functional deal team (Risk, Marketing, Sales/Business Development) in developing assumptions & ensure all assumptions are aligned.Interface with Senior Leadership. Provide meaningful information to leadership team to drive informed business decisions.Integral part of the business development team with insight into growth dynamics of the consumer lending business as well as the competitive marketplace.Present the results from deal pricing and projects to senior leadership team.Participate and in some instances lead pricing discussions in Pre-Investment Committee MeetingsQualifications/Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or in lieu of degree, 12 years equivalent experience.Minimum 7 years progressive financial experienceMinimum of 5 years of financial modeling experienceDesired Characteristics:Strong analytical skills including the ability to identify key trends, quantify analysis and recommend changes to meet objectivesMust have an excellent presence and be able to communicate well and present ideas in a clear and concise manner.Proven process skills including a demonstrated ability to drive changeResourceful, creative; independent, ability to work in a fast pasted dynamic environmentsAbility to work well in a team environment and to effectively interact with senior management and the Sales/Business Development organizationKnowledge of Consumer finance preferredCPA/MBA preferredEligibility Requirements:You must be 18 years or olderYou must have a high school diploma or equivalentYou must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection processYou must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.Effective 1-1-18, new hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
