Profile

Head of planning and allocation for the Womens Sportswear business in company stores for USA and Canada.  This role will make critical business decisions to drive sales and gross margin in the biggest division in company stores.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage Womens Sportswear MBRs by making decisions that will drive sales margin while maintaining inventory targets and will make final decisions on inventory needs
  • Finalize seasonal buys with teams to ensure that the appropriate mix and depth is bought by store tier
  • Manage weekly promotional recommendations for all stores by using promotional tiers to maximize sales and margin while managing inventory
  • Partner with store field team to manage inventory needs and callouts
  • Partner with marketing to determine mailer messages
  • Direct allocation team with strategy to ensure the right product is hitting the right stores at the right time
  • Partner with the SVP in all budgetary planning, including fiscal budgeting by store, DC budgeting by month with monthly updates, breaking out all fiscal topline budgets to become divisional budgets, and real estate analysis
  • Partner with IT on all new initiatives

Qualifications:           

  • 8-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • College degree                 
  • Ability to multi-task with adherence to deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to think strategically and implement tactically is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • PC Skills, including MS Office, and MS Outlook
  • Responsible for DC budgeting by month with monthly updates
  • Ability to break out the fiscal topline divisional budget to become departmental budgets
  • Influence strategy and decision making within scope of role
  • Responsible to provide day-to-day direction, including finding innovative solutions for resourcing issues
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines
  • Detail oriented/innovative traits necessary
  • Must be able to find best solutions and developing methods to improve efficiency
  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects
  • Ability to work in fluid environment with changing priorities required
