Description The Vice President (VP) of IT Demand & Service Management is responsible for the operation of the Project Management Office, the Business Relationship Managers within the IT Operations at Caesars Entertainment. The Demand & Services Management team is comprised of Project Managers, Program Managers, Program Directors, Business Relationship Managers and Business Analysts. This team is focused on successful execution of approved corporate projects and ensuring value and control on the multiple portfolios additionally, the team is the primary contact for our business partners, working closely with them from ideation through development of their product roadmaps. This role will lead the PMO within Caesars IT, ensuring a predictive and efficient set of processes and tools are in place to support the IT portfolio management efforts, including the staffing & resourcing of projects and the monitoring & reporting of key metrics. This position will set the standards that allow all of IT to manage performance through clearly-defined service requirements and performance measures, and the management of partner relationships for IT Portfolio services. . As the leader of the PMO, the VP will have responsibility for delivery and tracking of capacity and demand for all technology roadmaps, ideas and projects ensuring that all time and future demand is accurately recorded to produce metric that allows for appropriate scaling of IT staffing levels.The VP will also manage the entire Business Relationship Manager Team members, who are focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners to ensure clear articulation of individual and combined business objectives related to technology. Additionally, the VP of IT PMO will drive the overall Portfolio governance and demand management process via the Caesars Technical Steering Committee. In this capacity, the position will ensure the strategic alignment of projects, while providing visible reporting on project status, portfolio tracking, financial implications, and overall performance.This individual will interface with all areas within IT including development & support, finance, human resources, project management, engagement management, program management, and infrastructure. Responsibilities: Support Caesars transformation of IT Demand & Service Management, Office of Project Management from traditional waterfall to Davos Agile focus Management of a healthy portfolio of projects (projects in Green to 95% or greater) Management and coordination of roadmaps and intake of projects into the IT organization Continuous management and improvement of processes and methods utilized to manage, monitor, govern projects and programs, with heavy focus on On-Time delivery and appropriate management of the project financials and resource constrains Execution against the PMO Governance and Toll-Gate process with involvement from the IT Leadership team, and be able to navigate the various corporate silos and organization boundaries Communication of Risks, Issues and Action Items to various executives within IT and business, so that the health of the projects and initiatives is maintained Establishes operational processes for collaboration, knowledge management, resource planning, vendor management, portfolio tracking and dashboardsu00a0 Partner with all IT pillars (development, support, finance, architecture, property IT, Network, Infrastructure, Gaming Products and Mobile) to spec projects in appropriate and accurate detail for kickoff, start, execution, implementation and closure of all corporate projects. Drives and leads the Caesars Technical Steering Committee process, providing alignment across the functional areas & IT and ensuring visibility throughout the process. Responsible for consistent measurement of IT Portfolio performance and communication to & across the Enterprise IT team. Manage the portfolio against various Key Metrics for success and if these metrics are not being met, be ready to make whatever changes that are expected, to bring the portfolio to a healthy status Be ready to roll-up the sleeves and contribute at any tasks and at any levels if required Supports creation and use of an IT wide dashboard which can guide corrective action, services alignment and improved performance.u00a0 Builds knowledge capture and documentation processes to ensure corporate memory of key operations is maintained. Ensures changes to business objectives, projects and service portfolios translate Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS Requires 10 years of multi-disciplined IT leadership roles of Director or above, experience in tools, methodologies and project management methodology and metrics Ability to work in a diverse, multi-cultural and innovative operations, which is high-paced and continuously improving and changingu00a0 Ability to deal with ambiguity and challenging demands and a organizations drive to improve and innovate Experience managing a team of 50 people with 7 direct reports or more Experience managing teams which are globally dispersed and working on multiple time-zones Proven ability as a visionary and ready to explore new methods and ways of doing things Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics Business Administration or related field, MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.u00a0 Leader with proven success in designing, developing and maintaining corporate solutions and resources that will provide sustainable cost reductions and continued profitability.
