Global Technology & Operations is responsible for technology development, infrastructure, information and cyber security, data strategy and analytics, customer service, and operations in support of all lines of business across 40 markets around the world.
Role
The Global Technology & Operations area within MetLife is seeking an Intelligence expert with at least 10 years of relevant experience. He or she will report to and work closely with the Head of Global Corporate Security on strategic and operational issues related to analyzing and communicating intelligence information and measuring performance of the corporate security organization.

Key Responsibilities
Develops and maintains global framework for capturing, analyzing and communicating intelligence information.
Develops intelligence collection and analysis methodologies, training materials and templates for the team.
Develops intelligence strategies and plans to support risk assessment to business and operations.
Oversees acquisition, research, development and presentation of intelligence information
Develops requirements for all intelligence assessment and risk analysis, including identifying and vetting information sources.
Assesses potential threats to local/regional stability.
Oversees the identification, evaluation, and monitoring of threats to critical corporate assets. Develops actionable intelligence that helps with curbing threats and support corporate decision-making.
Builds, maintains and leverages relationships with key external agencies, industry groups, and other multinationals to include OSAC and FBI.
Builds and leverages relationships with other internal teams (e.g., Gov’t Affairs, IT Risk & Security) to share intelligence sources, methodologies and analysis, including cyber risks.
Ensures all intelligence data is properly disseminated within global corporate security and to other stakeholders.
Leads targeted research projects, special studies and analysis of intelligence information.
Drives integration of data and quantitative projects with qualitative intelligence and other corporate security programs.
Leads creation of technology requirements and leverages information technology resources to develop new analytical and dissemination platforms and tools.
Manages data and intelligence vendors/providers.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills
At least 10 years of direct government intelligence or corporate security intelligence experience in a supervisory capacity.
In-depth knowledge and expertise of private and public sector intelligence function.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to coordinate teams and professionals with various skills across the organization.
A keen analytical thinker with the aptitude to collate and validate intelligence, evaluate the reliability of sources and the relevance of information to operations.
Experience in conducting comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on long-term trends that could impact the organization.
Proven ability to fuse quantitative data and qualitative analysis and produce company-specific risk assessments.
Experience in writing detailed strategic and operational intelligence reports and security assessments for senior executives.
Experience in developing measures, metrics and processes for tracking performance of a security organization.
Process oriented with proven excellent project management skills.
BA/BS degree minimum; advanced degree preferred.
Foreign language ability highly desired.
Government security agency or risk / security consulting experience a plus.

The wage range for applicants for this position is $151,000 to $201,300.

his role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock based long-term incentives.
