Overview

The Vice President Specialty Medicine Clinic Operations is responsible for setting, overseeing, and directing the operational services for all NHMG specialty medicine clinics in coordination with the direction, strategy, and operational imperatives of Novant and NHMG.  The Vice President collaborates with organizational leaders and manages interdependencies across divisions to design and provide patient care and services including development of patient care programs, establishment of standards of practice, standards of patient care, and policies and procedures. Participates with leaders from the medical staff, management, and clinical areas, as well as Institute leadership in planning, prioritizing, promoting, and conducting organization-wide performance assessment and improvement activities. 

Qualifications

Education

: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree required.

Experience

: Minimum five years of leadership/administrative experience across medical group specialties; prefer medical group leadership experience and ten years of health care experience.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

: Certification in healthcare or business field highly recommended.
