General Statement of Duties:
Primary duties are the acquisition, retention and expansion of Business Banking relationships and growing the profitability of the business line.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
•Grow assets and liabilities via new business acquisitions.
•Conduct place of business calls to new and existing customers of the bank.
•Cross-sell cash management and loan products to existing business customers to increase retention and profitability of relationship.
•Develop COI’s (centers of influence) to increase referral sources.
•Serve as primary contact person on all new depository/credit relationships, working closely with branch manager and credit relationship manager.
•Support assigned branches to service and maintain high level of satisfaction with existing branch customers.
•Active participation in community events and business associations.
•4 year business degree in accounting, finance, economics or marketing preferred
•Minimum of 3 yrs. prior banking experience
•Formal Bank Credit Training (preferred)
•Prior sales experience of business deposit and credit products.
•Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Express.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Effective sales and servicing skills
•Effective writing and verbal communication skills
•Ability to develop rapport with customers and prospects
•Strong networking skills and ability to develop 3rd party referral sources
•Working knowledge of depository, credit, and cash management products.
