OverviewnThe Regional Vice President is responsible for all operational and financial aspects of a regional portfolio of multifamily properties. nResponsibilitiesnn Monitor property performance/income and expense.n Monitor appearance of each community and programs per tax credit application.n Supervise Property Managers, District Managers, Regional Property Managers and regional operations staff as applicable.n Oversee and support the Point of Sales process to ensure compliance with the program including associate sales certifications and daily huddles.n Supervise capital improvement projectsn Review preparation process of annual budgets prior to delivery to ownership.n Prepare and or review monthly and quarterly variance and forecast reports for asset management.n Continual awareness of Compliance status with in-house company departmentn Ensure adherence to Fair Housing Practices, and Landlord Tenant Laws.n Monitor Customer Service satisfaction.n Direct new construction lease up activities.nn nPerforms all other duties as directed by the President, and assists the overall team effort in any way possible.n n nThe Regional Vice President represents and promotes Holland's Core Values of Great People, Great Business, Deliver Exceptional Customer Service and Have Fun!n nQualificationsnRequired: 10 years minimum multi-site, multi-market experience within the housing industry.  Minimum of four years experience supervising two or more direct reports at the district manager or regional manager level.   Asset management, capital management, and client relationship experience with fee-based and 3rd party properties.  Multiple real estate management product line experience such as: commercial, lease up, renovation, senior housing, affordable housing, etc.nDesired:  Minimum 4,000 unit portfolio management experience.n n nMust have competency in the following:nn Ability to analyze and interpret statistical and  financial data in order to make recommendations.n Analytical ability necessary to handle moderately complex administrative details.n Leadership skills essential.n Ability to deal well with people; supportive, motivational personality.n Strong diplomacy and crisis diffusion skills.n Good verbal and written communication skills, able to express oneself clearly and confidently.n Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization.n Strong customer service orientation.n Demonstrated skill of time management and priority focus.n Computer skills u2013 MS Outlook, Excel, Web based initiatives; Yardi preferred.n Basic office organizational skills: filing, supplies inventory and ordering, mailing/shipping, office equipment upkeep/contract maintenance -Telephone, fax, photocopier.n Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.n Driver's License required.nn nEducation:  Bacheloru2019s Degree strongly preferred.  Real Estate License and CPM designation preferred.  High school diploma or equivalent is required.    In addition, the position requires the ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.n nPhysical requirements: Ability to lift, push and pull up to a maximum of 20lbs. Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situation required.n nAttendance: Position requires ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year.  Position requires the ability to travel and stay overnight, as scheduled or necessary.n n nThis is an excellent opportunity to apply your talent, vision, drive, and experience to our Residential Team.n
