Overviewnn nThe Ketchum New York CPG team is seeking a Vice President to add to their dynamic team of talented professionals.  This is a key role dedicated to one of the agencyu2019s largest multinational accounts. A background in disruptive public relations, in addition to strategy, planning and execution of digital, social and mobile campaigns is essential to this role.  He/she should have experience in working across multiple geographies, marketing and communicating to men, and have significant experience working with other marketing disciplines as part of an integrated team.nAbout the Jobnn Plann n Provide senior-level account and program-specific planning and supervision for several aspects of one of the agencyu2019s largest multinational accounts.  n Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials including strategic plans, toolkits, client media materials, points of view and other correspondence. n Develop creative, innovative PR ideas and/or access teams to deliver these ideas to the client based on their needs.  Ability to push the envelope and take some risks to push client PR to the next level. Plan approach must be holistic in nature, accounting for all elements of the PR toolbox across traditional, social and new media opportunities.n Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others.n Understands trends in PR, pop culture and new media and can help shape programs that are right for the clientsu2019 core target audiencesn n Don n Serve as the strategic liaison among client, account team and agency management.n Serve as senior contact and counselor for clients, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of clientsu2019 business; anticipate and address client needsn Lead the execution of programs developed and sold in through the planning phase; motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback; encourage teams to take advantage of training and development opportunities.n Serve as a hub, connecting the right specialists and resources across the agency and with outside vendors in order to work effectively and in the best interests of client(s); maximize agencyu2019s network of resources to enhance client services.n n Learn Grown n Able to proactively share a vision for the account direction and to inspire the account team to achieve it.n Creatively troubleshoot clientsu2019 problems as they arise; seek senior management input and apply the resources from Ketchum whenever appropriate.n Help set and achieve business goals for the Agency and media relations and marketing results for clients through strong leadership, vision, decision-making and problem-solving skills. n Begin to build a leadership role in outside organizations to increase Ketchumu2019s visibility in marketplace and create new or incremental business opportunities.n n Managen n Manage account financials including accurate budget creation, allocation and control.  Ensure budgets are accurate when presented to clients, manage our scope of work to those budgets and the budget tracker to ensure we stay on track.n Oversee teamu2019s entered time, time sheets, client billing, supplier invoicing and purchase order compliance.n Ensure team billability and account profitability.n nnQualificationsnn Bacheloru2019s degree in Communications, Public relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
