The successful candidate will support the EHS Environment Director to advance the Company’s Environment Strategy, lead the execution of the Enterprise EHS Environment management system, and support internal / external communications.
We are seeking candidates with the ability to work strategically, proactively and collaboratively with Environment organization, EHS Leadership Team and supporting functions. The position requires a versatile set of strong leadership skills including: decision making, project/program management, creative problem solving, critical thinking, written and verbal communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
This position will require close coordination with the Environment Leadership Team members, EHS Vice President and multiple support functions to execute the responsibilities of the Environment organization in a proactive, efficient and high quality manner.
Representative tasks include:
Strategic support for advancing the environment strategy through the Enterprise Environment Strategic Integration Team
Leading the execution of the management system in an efficient, effective, proactive and high quality manner
Assess inquiries/request directed to the Director to determine the appropriate course of action, delegate actions to supporting members of the team and follow-up on completion
Leading the development of internal communications for Vice President and ExCo level briefings and other communications (monthly reports, quarterly deep dives, QFR, etc.)
Leading the development of communications in support of key external engagement events (briefings, speeches, public events, etc.),
Assist the Director in preparation of and delivery of material related to EHS management system including business reviews, staff meeting, annual meetings, annual reports, etc.
Providing recommendations to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of the Environment organization’s management system and operating model
Working with the Environment Leadership Team and Project Management Excellence (PMX) team to ensure **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. project/program management best practices are implemented across the Environment Operating model.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Environment, Health and Safety
3 or more years of experience in program/project management or business operations
2 or more years of experience in a leadership role
Experience in development and implementation of continuous process improvement
Experience leading teams in a cross functional environment
Typical Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 or more years of experience in environmental policy, sustainability, strategy, remediation or compliance related activities
Ability to quickly develop an effective command of the Environment organization and management systems in order to support implementation of the Chief of Staff (CoS) responsibilities
Ability to effectively, judiciously and properly disposition various requests/deliverables on behalf of the organization
Experience developing high quality deliverables and presentations, working with various contributors from across the organization
Experience with developing high executive level briefings, presentations, speaking engagements, and assist in the strategic execution of the organizations responsibilities
