The VP,Marketing will be responsible for overseeing all marketing to advertisers, publishers and other stakeholders internally and externally. The VP,Marketing is responsible for developing the strategy to position adMarketplace within the advertising industry as the leading provider of search network solutions for top digital advertisers.  The VP,Marketing will drive the outbound communication programs and initiatives for adoption, retention and engagement of our search platform with advertisers and publishers through marketing material, programs, social and brand initiatives.The ideal candidate will also be influential in managing and building relationship internally and externally through their knowledge of the search advertising business and their experience marketing to advertisers. Responsibilities:Marketing Strategy and Vision: Oversee creative development and execution of all branding and marketing programs.Optimize our marketing efforts so that current and prospective advertisers, publishers, employees, and the media engage with the company and perceive a clear sense of our purpose.Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing / communications / public relations – tracking progress and performance ROI.Public Relations: Develop media relation strategies that elevate our visibility as a high value, trusted brand. Oversee the organization’s representation in the media.Partnership Marketing and Event Marketing: Conceive and execute events that attract new clients, strengthen relationships with existing clients, and attract positive publicity.Lead corporate marketing team (PR, Design, Events, and Content) to create compelling support materials to drive results.Tell our story to performance advertisers, ad agencies, secure publishers via PR and events.Track competitors in space and provide meaningful competitive landscape analysisQualifications:7 years in Marketing and 5 in a Leadership role; deep knowledge of online advertising spaceStrong sense of brand and editorial voice; the ability to harmonize message across multiple channels and marketing vehicleA well-rounded leader who has business acumen/experience encompassing all areas of marketing (branding, product, program development, digital/web/social media, strategy, marketing operations and measurement, research, events, PR)Proven ability to drive innovative and effective marketing programs that generate resultsComfortable rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis and reach sound data-based conclusions.Proven ability to manage, develop, and retain a high-performing team in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentExpertise in building partnerships across internal and external teamsStrong sense of brand and editorial voice; the ability to harmonize message across multiple channels and marketing vehicleAdvertising agency relationships and connections are a plusExperience developing case studies, whitepapers, etcExperience in a high growth start-up is a plusMBA or masters in related subject matterAbout:adMarketplace is a technology company with the largest search advertising network outside of the major search engines. adMarketplace provides data-driven performance at scale to the Internet’s leading marketers and their agencies through its powerful yet easy-to-use search syndication platform.Additionally, adMarketplace is a flat organization with empowered, self-directed teams that value honesty, commitment, accountability and results.
