Description The VP of POD Marketing will be responsible and accountable for meeting the revenue targets for all resort related activities in the three properties in the POD portfolio. This includes, but is not limited, to hotel room revenue, food and beverage revenue, entertainment/nightlife revenue, as well as any additional monetization of the resort assets (e.g., site fees, product placement fees). Additionally, the VP of POD Marketing will be jointly responsible for driving gaming revenue across the portfolio, working in conjunction with the VP of Casino Marketing for Las Vegas and the Operations and VIP team leaders in each property. In this role the VP will be responsible for developing and owning the overall marketing strategy for each property/the POD overall, focusing on both driving occupancy and ADR at the property (demand generation) as well as how to monetize all customer traffic, lodger and non-lodger, once a consumer is in market. To achieve this goal, the VP will oversee two teams: 1) the hotel performance team, responsible for driving occupancy and profitable RevPAR growth, and 2) the traffic monetization team, responsible for managing the customer experience on/around the property and marketing all of the PODu2019s assets to customers in market. Through the Hotel Performance team, the VP of POD Marketing will be responsible for hitting the RevPAR goals for each property in the POD, including: defining the room marketing strategy for the year, developing the promotional calendar, guiding media and search marketing investments to optimize traffic, working with Revenue Management to set pricing, managing room merchandising on the various Caesars digital and traditional media channels, maximizing the value of all strategic partnerships, monitoring and managing performance by distribution channel, as well as assuming responsibility for each propertyu2019s social media review and rating performance. Through the Traffic Monetization team, the VP of POD Marketing will be responsible for traffic into the property, and managing the customer experience of each hotel guest, including: on-property marketing and merchandising, direction and use of in-market advertising and marketing assets (e.g., Taxi TV, Billboards), all on-property offers and promotions and management of all on-property and in-market partnerships to drive revenue (E.g., entertainment teams). Additionally the VP will work closely with several key partners across the organization to both develop and execute these revenue strategies, including: Operations, Las Vegas Market PR and Social team, Brand and Media teams, Digital Marketing, Leisure/Group Sales and Revenue Management and Casino Marketing. Among the responsibilities assumed by the VP of POD Marketing will be the co-creation of the annual Las Vegas Market plan (in conjunction with Casino Marketing, Operations and the other VPs of POD Marketing), resulting in the development and ongoing management of all the core programs that will drive revenue over the course of the year. The VP will also be responsible for constantly monitoring and measuring the success of these programs, responding to market, consumer, channel or competitive changes as necessary. Additionally, the VP must have a detailed understanding of the operational considerations of each marketing program and tactic, and work closely with the Operations and Entertainment teams to ensure successful and smooth execution. The VP of POD Marketing will be a key member of the Las Vegas Market Leadership team, and together with the Regional Presidents, the VP of Casino Marketing will be responsible for the performance in the market. The VP will have daily interaction with the SVP of Hospitality and Entertainment Marketing, and will have frequent interaction with the CMO, the President of Destination Markets, and the entire Senior Management Team of the company.u00a0 Qualifications ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: u00b7Develop annual plan for each property, and co-lead effort for overall market plan u00b7Oversee and accountable for all marketing actions for each property u00b7Monitor revenue and profitability performance, making adjustments to marketing strategy as needed to ensure targets are met u00b7Manage hotel reputation and brand positioning u00b7Ensure operational integration and execution of all marketing activities u00b7Continually assess hotelu2019s performance relative to competitors, adjusting strategy accordingly u00b7Oversee development of hotel room marketing strategy for each property in the POD u00b7Constantly monitor and evaluate occupancy and ADR performance across properties and channels, both historical, current and forward looking, recommending changes as necessary u00b7Explore and recommend new hotel marketing channels and partnerships (e.g., luxury consortia) u00b7Work with Revenue Management to develop pricing guidelines for different properties u00b7Work with key internal partners to develop and execute campaigns u00b7Other duties as assigned by the SVP, Hospitality & Entertainment Marketing QUALIFICATIONS: u00b77-10 years of marketing leadership in the Travel and Tourism space, with direct revenue accountability and/or P&L authority u00b73-5 years of hospitality operations experience u00b7Deep understanding of hospitality Channel management (e.g., OTAs, luxury travel consortia, GDS) u00b7Demonstrated leadership and capabilities in digital and social media marketing u00b7Experience creating and executing individual direct/email campaigns, as well as designing an overarching marketing strategy u00b7Creative experiences, either managing a brand or designing within specific brand standards u00b7Outstanding organizational and project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously required u00b7Experience working with strategic teams across several functional areas u00b7Ability to maintain composure and excellent customer/client relations under all circumstances u00b7A team player with strong communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills u00b7Must possess outstanding presentation skills with the ability to persuade an audience through strong delivery, effective listening and good reasoning. u00b7Understanding of, or the ability to quickly learn, CZR marketing strategies and knowledge about CZR core marketing systems (PDB, CMS, Offers, EDW, etc.) u00b7Demonstrated track record of partnering and building relationships with Property Operators, Shared Services, and Corporate IT; or related work experience u00b7Working knowledge of various gaming regulatory implications a plus u00b7College degree required, MBA preferred u00b7Computer literate - must be literate in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) u00b7Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment, including smoke, noise and distractions Employee Status :Regular Job Level :Executive Travel :No
