Job Description Responsibilities: Provides oversight for areas of responsibility to ensure achievement of goals.
Oversees the development and continuous improvement of services, policies, processes, and programs.Provides leadership to management within areas of responsibility.
Oversees operations, budget, financial targets, and human resources management.
Formulates and implements operational strategies and initiatives.
Develops and executes strategy, organizational structure and supporting work systems and processes for achieving business goals; develops and conducts interventions as needed.
Provides strategic leadership for scope of responsibility.Develops and manages key State and legislative relationships.
Ensures contract requirements are being met, deliverables are accurate and delivered in a timely manner; participates in rate setting discussions.
Manages key stakeholder relationships, including representatives of provider, public, and community based organizations, specifically those focused on serving specific, complex populations.
Responsible for growth, revenue, cost of care, operating gain, quality results and operational efficiency\/effectiveness
Establishes and implements effective programs and processes across all functional areas to remediate issues; implements new programs and ensures high satisfaction of members, providers and State customers.
Partners with stakeholders and staff to define a strategy targeting existing and new business.Defines go to market approach and works with the team and government affairs to execute the strategy.Supports development of Requests For Proposal (RFP) for procurement and program expansion.
Attends and acts as a thought leader in national meetings where the company`s product and services are a focus.Establishes the company as a thought leader in this space to help set policy. Other Job Requirements Knowledge of managed healthcare delivery systems to include critical components and interdependencies.
Knowledge of the variety of financial and clinical structures viable in the managed care arena.
Knowledge of clinical issues unique to the delivery of mental health and substance abuse services, of strategic planning and the budget process.
Ability to communicate and advocate at the line through corporate staff levels.
Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills in a multiple site and function environment.
Proven ability to manage operations in a clinical healthcare system.
Strong negotiating and contracting skills.
Bachelor's Level Degree\u00a0Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
10 years of experience in healthcare with a clinical and\/or operations management focus.
