Identify and lead improvement efforts that support strategic objectives through cost reduction, quality improvements, and differentiated customer experience. Replicate favorable outcomes across multiple organizations within the system. Work with various clinical and business agents to drive targeted improvement projects utilizing numerous methodologies and fundamental project management techniques including Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints. Director will play a coordination role across multiple functions in driving process improvement teams, and will leverage data-based decision making, moderate statistical analysis and other process improvement projects, and assist in the development of operational decision support tools including executive dashboards and leading indicators for continuous process improvement and optimization.
MBA or Masters in Process Engineering preferred, with a minimum of a Bachelors degree and 5 years work experience in related field. Certified Lean and Six Sigma Blackbelt from ASQ or well-established training program required. Must have 5 years clinical, business management experience.
BLS is required for any RN, LPN, PCT, Patient Transporter or other direct patient care provider. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, PACU, Medical Emergency Team and Anesthesia require ACLS. Pediatrics, SICU, Emergency Department and Medical Emergency Team also require PALS.
