Specifically, this role works as a technical thought leader, proactively proposing and architecting technical solutions to address customer needs. Using technical insights, best practices, and personal credibility to gain buy-in and support of key customer technical decision-makers, this role is an advisor and subject matter expert to customers on technical research and platforms. Uncovers, analyzes and evaluates Strategic Account solution needs that address known and unknown issues Assesses the Strategic Accountu2019s business needs from the point-of-view of engineering/construction value and obtains customer alignment on those priorities Develops and maintains strategic working relationships with technical users within assigned accounts and understands their functional objectives Diagnoses and confirms customer functional requirements and securing the u201ctechnical closeu201d in complex solutions Works as a recognized technical expert in the area of information management, system integration or project management for assigned accounts Supports the Strategic Account members in scoping new opportunities, ensuring the proposed solution falls in line with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.u2019s capabilities, processes, and profitability goals Ensures client satisfaction by identifying client needs, anticipating future challenges and proposing value-added technology-based solutions with supporting business cases Guides and educates clients on the full **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. product capabilities and business impacts Executes technical presentations, benchmarks, pilots and product demonstrations that will clearly communicate our value proposition and differentiated technology solutions Qualifications Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering, computer science MIS, or other related field Minimum 10 years related experience in the area of EPC engineering and construction, including experience in engineering and consulting design software and databases Proven knowledge in the work processes related to construction execution and construction planning for EPC projects and/or operations turnaround projects Demonstrable experience in working with customers to define technical requirements and business processes Experience as Information Management/Systems Supervisor or CIE Manager or Construction planner desired; Information System or Information Technology related certifications is a plus Solid understanding of engineering design, procurement and construction practices as well as related regulatory constraints present in different industries Must be able to lead and direct a customer and project team in defining solutions and ensuring that goals and expectations are well defined and achievable Excellent communications skills u2013 Verbal, Written, Presentation Commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service Ability to travel at least 50%u00a0of the time domestically and internationally.
