This job includes direct customer interface on a regular basis.\u00a0
Includes facilities level design and installation of communications systems, to include the electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines.
Low Frequency (LF) antenna and radio system design.
Assist with managing in-country subcontractors through regular interactions, development of technical documentation and coordinating design review activities.
Responsible for providing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Assist with the development of top level specification and manage requirement flow down to lower level specifications.
Develops statements of work, technical volumes, project plans and schedules; estimate resource and material needs. Orchestrate artifacts via collaboration among engineering and support staff.
Manage risk and opportunity with internal and external customers; work with technical team to identify, mitigate and close program risks.
Work multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing situations Qualifications: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Software or Systems Engineering (or similar technical discipline)
10 years of related experience (or 8 years with a Master\u2019s degree) Preferred\/Additional Skills: Experience in subcontractor technical management.
Experience with power distribution, HVAC, and shelter\/antenna installation.
Requirements managements, traceability, and verification with IBM Rational DOORS.
It is preferred that the candidate have experience in the electromechanical packaging efforts and ruggedized radio design testing for land, maritime, and\/or airborne environments
Candidate will have proven experience demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical information environment; interact, anticipate and respond to customer needs.
Experience with PNT equipment and systems.
Experience with low frequency radio systems. Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain UAE security clearance for access to restricted information.
