\u003cp\u003eThe primary focus of the position is to conduct technical and commercial due diligence related to thermal power projects for the purpose of supporting project financing or acquisitions/divestures.\u0026nbsp; In addition, the position requires the skills to provide owner\u0026rsquo;s engineering/development support and technical advisory services to our clients.\u0026nbsp; The person in this position will provide services that fall within each of the stages of a project\u0026rsquo;s lifecycle, including development, pre-financing, financing, construction, performance testing, O\u0026amp;M review, divestiture, decommissioning and redevelopment. The Executive Director may also participate in restructuring consulting for distressed assets. \u0026nbsp;This is a senior level role, requiring subject matter expertise in thermal technologies and the design, construction, operations, and maintenance thereof.\u0026nbsp; E3 is a seller-doer model, and as such an Executive Director is required to actively participate in business development including bringing in new projects and clients to support the overall team objectives.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e

\u003cli\u003eUnderstand typical market terms and conditions related to technology risks and costs as well as \u0026ldquo;bankable\u0026rdquo; terms and conditions\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eReview primary mover and plant technology including reviewing specifications, reviewing service bulletins, reviewing root cause analysis reports, opining on appropriateness for the site/location and operating conditions, identifying known issues with the technology, opining on historical operation, forecasting major maintenance and O\u0026amp;M expenses associated with technology\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eProvide construction monitoring services, including visiting construction sites and/or warehouses to form an opinion on construction schedule and budget progress as well as identify any issues and then providing certificates and monthly analysis/reporting on same\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eWitness performance testing at a natural gas-fired power plant. Review and comment on the test procedure prior to commencement of testing and then review test results post-testing.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eUnderstand typical environmental and regulatory requirements of thermal power plants\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eReview financial model to confirm reasonableness of O\u0026amp;M expenses associated with the technology employed and long-term capital expenditures\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eServe as a team lead, with potential for future team member direct reports\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eServe as Project Manager on projects in area of expertise\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eServe as individual contributor and subject matter expert to other Project Managers\u003c/li\u003e

\u003cli\u003eWork with subconsultants, if necessary, to complete the team with a specialized skillset\u003c/li\u003e
