As the Deputy Chief of Staff, you’ll have a rare opportunity to learn firsthand how a CEO runs a fast-growing company and ensure high priority initiatives are achieved. Fast-growing companies evolve quickly, and this role is responsible for helping the entire organization proactively adjust. To do this, you will work along Company's CEO, Chief of Staff, and cross-functional leaders. Your work will be highly impactful by helping leverage the CEO’s expertise to the whole company.

What will you get to do
Collaborate with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and other senior leaders to identify priority areas of improvement within the company
Execute upon high priority projects. This may entail communicating with cross-functional team members, performing research and analysis, sharing findings, and leading the project through completion
Manage the CEO’s calendar, optimizing it for his and the company’s priorities
Help problem solve within priority meetings, ask probing questions to help overcome bottlenecks
Ensure meetings are run effectively, take notes, and follow up with those that have action items
What does success look like in this role
2 years experience in high-intensity work environments (e.g., consulting)
Experience as an operator or startup founder working with cross-functional teams
Comfortable and excited to lead projects end to end and communicating with larger audiences
Committed to what you are working on, excellent independent analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptable to changing situations
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with a service-oriented team
Strong emotional intelligence; able to read the room, understand how people are feeling, and empathize
