Associate Chief Nursing Officer
To plan, organize, direct and evaluate the Patient Services activities of Nursing and other clinical services of the hospital. Responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for the Service, establishes and maintains standards of nursing practice, nursing standards of care, and monitoring patient outcomes. Performs duties in support of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and Hospital mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.
Develops, in conjunction with the Chief Nurse Executive and President, the philosophy and goals of Patient Services. Collaboratively develops Nursing Services Standards with the Hospital management team and implements standards. Supports the Hospital and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. goals and philosophies. Prepares Human Resources, Operational, and Capital budgets for Patient Services, in collaboration with the Chief Nurse Executive, Senior Administrative Directors of Nursing and the Clinical Nurse Directors. Reports on monthly variances and initiates actions to reduce operational expenses. Prepares Nursing Services and Patient Services for site visits by JCAHO, the Department of Health, and other agencies.
Education and Training:
Current licensure to practice Professional Nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Masters Degree required
5 years nurse management experience required.
