Primary Job Objective:
Work closely with the plant's General Manager to effectively manage the financial results.
Some other primary objectives of this position would be to fulfill monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP, as well as developing and overseeing internal controls.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each necessary duty adequately. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Carry out all accounting functions such as:
Accurate monthly financial reports
Coordinate weekly & monthly KPIs
Review and coordinate Accounts Receivables
Assess balance sheet reconciliations monthly
Review new and existing contracts
Prepare ROI analysis
Ensure proper business licenses and registrations are in compliance
Responsible for planning annual audits
Be the primary point-of-contact with senior debt holders
Work with GM and Plant Manager to ensure they are receiving all financial reports necessary to facilitate decision-making.
Ensure all financial models are available, along with monthly forecasts for financial decision-making.
Support GM with the following administrative items.
Attend monthly board meetings and present financial results and reports.
Well organized & attentive to detail
Bachelor degree in Accounting or a related field required
CMA or CPA preferred
7 years of accounting experience and experience in supporting operational leaders
Knowledge of Cooperative law structure and financial reporting for Cooperative compliance is preferred
5 years previous supervisor experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & proficient in MS Excel
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills preferred
